African Parents Collaborative
African Parents Collaborative (APC) is a group of volunteer parents in Minnesota who are committed to improving early childhood development efforts and programming in the African immigrant community.
Our Goal:
To see a community of African immigrant children rise above the achievement gaps in Minnesota and grow to be successful in school and life.
What we want

To close the learning achievement gaps for African immigrant children in Minnesota

To raise awareness and educate African parents to invest in children’s development and learning (Ages 0 - 8)

To partner with community-based organizations and provide educational support for school-aged children (Ages 5 -12)

To support parents of children with learning disabilities and connect them to support with in their community

To advocate for culturally relevant learning supports for African Immigrant children
